The OMNIA 8100 series is a family
of multi-function electrical safety compliance
analyzers that consist of three models. OMNIA 4,
model 8104, is a 4-in-1 instrument that provides
AC/DC Hipot, Insulation Resistance and 40 Amp
Ground Bond/Continuity tests. OMNIA 5, model
8105, is a 5-in-1 instrument that provides AC/DC
Hipot, Insulation Resistance, 40 Amp Ground
Bond/Continuity and Functional Run tests. OMNIA
6, model 8106, is a 6-in-1 instrument that
provides AC/DC Hipot, Insulation Resistance, 40
Amp Ground Bond/Continuity, Functional Run and
Line Leakage tests. All models feature an
enhanced graphic LCD and simplified user-interface.
OMNIA can be used as a bench top instrument or
as a PC controlled system. It is best suited for
applications that require multiple product
safety tests with a single Device Under Test
(DUT) connection. The ability to perform
multiple electrical safety tests with a single
connection will increase production and
efficiency while saving time and money.

Hypot III is a bench top
Dielectric Withstand tester with an enhanced
Graphic LCD and entry-level automation with an
RS-232 interface. The Hypot III family consists
of three models: the 3705, the 3765, and the
3770. The 3705 is an AC Hipot tester, the 3765
is an AC/DC Hipot Tester, and the 3770 is an
AC/DC/IR Hipot tester. All models can be used as
bench top instruments or controlled remotely via
RS-232 or an enhanced PLC Remote Control.
Additionally, all models can be interconnected
to the HYAMP® III family of Ground
Bond testers to form a complete test system with
a single DUT connection. It provides the latest
technology and is well suited for entry level
Hipot testing applications.

The HypotMAX series is a family of
high voltage and high current electrical safety
compliance analyzers. The 7700 is a 3-in-1 model
that provides 500VA AC Hipot, DC Hipot, and
Insulation Resistance testing. the 7704 is a
4-in-1 model that adds a 30 Amp Ground Bond
testing to the functionality of the 7700. The
combination of 500 VA AC Hipot testing and DC
Hipot, Insulation Resistance and Ground Bond
testing allows manufacturers to meet a variety
of test requirements with a single instrument.
The 7705 is a 10 KV AC Hipot tester, the 7710 is
a 12 KV DC Hipot tester, the 7715 is a 20 KV AC
Hipot tester and the 7720 is a 20 KV DC Hipot
tester. These testers will output higher AC or
DC voltages for cable, wire, harness and
electrical component testing. These bench top
testers are easy to use and designed with
advanced features such as our patented SmartGFI®
safety circuit and our patented CHARGE-LO and
RAMP-HI systems. With both IEEE-488(GPIB) and
RS-232 interfaces these testers can also be used
in an automated test environment.

HypotULTRA
III is a fully-automated dielectric analyzer
for Safety Agency production line testing. The
HypotULTRA III family features two models. The
7620 is an AC Hipot with an optional 4 or 8
channel internal scanning matrix. The 7650 is a
3-in-1 system that performs AC Hipot, DC Hipot
and Insulation Resistance tests. An optional 4
or 8 channel internal scanning matrix is also
available. HypotULTRA III can be used as a bench
top instrument or as a PC controlled system. It
is well suited for all hipot testing
applications. An additional continuity test mode
allows the HypotULTRA III to perform both
point-to-point continuity and hipot tests at
voltages up to 5,000 volts. Both models feature
an enhanced graphic LCD with an analog bar
graph, which allows users to monitor test
results versus limit settings. HypotULTRA III is
an easy-to-use dielectric analyzer with advanced
technology and test capability.

HYAMP III is a manual Ground Bond
tester that features an enhanced graphic LCD. It
consists of three models. The 3130 provides 30

The LINECHEK® Model
620L is a fully automated Line Leakage
tester that can be configured to perform 8 of
the most commonly required Line Leakage tests.
The 620L has the most common measuring devices
(MD's) already incorporated into the instrument
and can perform patient lead tests with an
optional scanning matrix. The 620L also features
a continuous run capability which allows the DUT
to be run without shutting down between line
leakage tests. This remains true even in reverse
polarity conditions. When configured with an
optional Run test feature, the 620L can also
monitor minimum and maximum readings for
Voltage, Current, Watts, Power Factor, and
Leakage Current. It can be configured for use in
stand alone applications or as part of a test
system when interconnected to any Associated
Research Hipot or Ground Bond tester. The 620L
may also be interconnected with the AC1000 Power
source to provide clean power to the DUT and
allow for full adjustment of DUT input voltage.
For automated control of applied part test
points, the 620L may be combined with the SC6540
modular scanning matrix. Lastly, Ethernet,
RS-232 or GPIB communication interfaces allow
for the automated control of the instrument.

MedTEST provides advanced test
functionality while increasing efficiency for
medical device manufactures.
It compiles with test requirements called out in
common medical electrical safety specifications
such as UL2601, UL60601-1, IEC601-1, IEC60601-1,
EN60601-1 and more. It performs patient lead
testing on medical devices and also includes a
continuous run feature. This feature can offer
significant time saving as the Device Under Test
(DUT) does not need to be powered down and up to

The SC6540 is a modular scanner
designed to automate multi-point and
multi-product testing when using OMNIA,
HypotULTRA III, QUADCHEK II and HypotULTRA II.
The modular design provides for a variety of
configurations. The SC6540 can be configured
with 8 HV testing channels, 16 HV testing
channels, 8 High Current testing channels, 16
High Current testing channels, or even 8 High
Voltage and 8 High Current testing channels.
Each of these configurations can then be
configured as a "Master" scanner with its own
power source that is controlled through
automation or as a "Slave" scanner without its
own power module that is controlled through a
"Master" scanner or the electrical safety
tester.
